Makes a change from him mugging the fans.

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone suffered a head injury after muggers
attacked him and escaped with jewellery worth £200,000.

The 80-year-old F1 supremo was robbed outside the headquarters of his
business empire Formula One Holdings in Knightsbridge, central London,
Scotland Yard said.

Billionaire Mr Ecclestone was reportedly punched and kicked by four men
who were lying in wait as he arrived at the HQ with his Brazilian
girlfriend Fabiana Flosi.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called at about 10.30pm on
Wednesday, November 24, to reports of a man and a woman robbed on
Princes Gate.

"The man was taken to a west London hospital for treatment to a minor
head injury and was subsequently discharged. There were no reports of
any other injuries.

"Officers from Westminster robbery squad are investigating. There have
been no arrests and inquiries continue.

"The items stolen are believed to be a quantity of jewellery."

I wouldn't like to be in the muggers shoes. Have they not seen "The Long
Good Friday"?

There's a Jim Bamber cartoon where Bernie has the F1 team bosses
hanging upside down and says "I've been good to you, put money in your
pockets." Is TLGF the movie it came from?

Sorry, not much of of movie goer, unless it's a Hitchcock.

Yep.

[Harold's lads have rounded up all the local villains who are now
hanging upside down from meat hooks in the abattoir]

Harold: For more than ten years there's been peace - everyone to his own
patch. We've all had it sweet. I've done every single one of you favours
in the past - I've put money in all your pockets. I've treated you well,
even when you was out of order, right? Well now there's been an
eruption. It's like fuckin' Belfast on a bad night. One of my closest
friends is lyin' out there in the freezer. And believe me, all of you,
nobody goes home until I find out who done it, and why.

There was a rumour in the F1 world that TLGF was more like a biography
of a certain character in F1. Some may think that, I couldn't possibly
agree.

And now his very bruised face is used to advertise the brand of watch
he uses.

I might not agree with everything he does (as if he cares), but he's got
a good sense of humour, and big

errr, bruises.
